ABOUT OUR FIRM:

KJO Architecture is an award-winning architecture and planning studio founded in Philadelphia, PA in 2012. The studio provides architectural services for small and medium scale buildings for owners and real estate developers. Our priority is forming collaborative partnerships with our clients: we believe this is accomplished by studying their ideas and objectives, and merging that information with our own experience and creative thinking. This deliberate collaboration results in the creation of successful, memorable, and thoughtfully considered projects that enhance the built environment.

Our practice focuses on opportunities to utilize creativity, technology, and efficiency to inform a transparent and simple design process. We approach each project with an emphasis on discovery and innovation. Our studio philosophy: responsible design should consider the cultural, environmental, and financial impacts of a project in both the near and long term. We work with modern materials and processes, while resisting stylistic tendencies and favoritism towards current trends. 

Our office is a team of creatives and technicians unified by a goal of achieving exceptional results for every project. We provide a full range of design services that are tailored to meet the specific requirements of our clients. In addition to our own internal design team, we work with a skilled group of consultants and experts within an extended network outside of our studio, and rely on these partnerships to broaden the range of what is possible.
