KJO Architecture is hiring: Project Architect (3+ yrs experience)

Our Firm

KJO Architecture LLC is a Philadelphia, PA-based architecture and planning office.  Our design work and project types are varied, with a focus on urban housing (including single and multi-family residential), mixed-use and commercial buildings, and adaptive reuse of existing structures.  Our studio is an open and flexible work area where ideas, feedback, and knowledge are shared freely.  We work at various project scales and are licensed in PA and NJ. 

Position Available: Project Architect

Candidates are required to hold a professional architecture degree (B.Arch., M.Arch.) and must have at least 3+ years of experience working in an architecture office.  Applicant must have excellent verbal and visual communication abilities and should be able to perform within a fast-paced / collaborative work environment. Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office is required.  Applicant must have experience in the design of wood-framed new construction, including lo-rise and mid-rise buildings, and be comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, and design consultants.  Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, schematic design, presentation drawings, construction documentation, and site visits and surveys.  Applicant must have experience in small project management and be comfortable with assembling CD sets and generating / picking up redlines.  Applicant must be licensed or eligible for future licensure.
